Steel

- You
must be a minimum age of 23
- You
must posess a current Class "A" CDL with a good
driving record
- You
must have a minimum of 18mths verifiable over the road
driving experience
- You
must be able to meet the D.O.T. requirements for both driver
and equipment
- You
must have a minimum 48' flatbed or stepdeck trailer, lease
flatbeds are made available through SMT
- You
must have your own base plate or be willing to purchase an
Illinois IRP through SMT with 50% down and the
remainder paid in your first 45 days
- You
must be willing to purchase permits through SMT
